The team
Elna is led by two founders with deep experience in AI, digital health, and user-centered product development. Together, they combine technical rigor with a strong understanding of clinical workflows and evidence-based medicine.
Pau is an AI and machine learning expert with 20+ years of experience spanning academic research, applied ML engineering, and leadership roles in high-growth startups and major tech companies.
He has built and led teams that developed healthcare AI solutions — including patient-triage models, diagnostic support systems, and generative-AI tools for clinicians. His work focuses on deploying safe, reliable, medical-grade AI systems at scale.
At Elna, he drives the scientific and technical direction, ensuring the platform delivers accurate, trustworthy information based on the highest-quality evidence.
Martina is a product and UX leader with over 15 years of experience shaping digital products for both startups and global organizations.
She specializes in designing intuitive, evidence-driven tools for complex healthcare workflows and has led digital strategy initiatives for major pharmaceutical companies.
Her work in AI began in 2011 through early NLP experimentation at a leading technology company. Since then, she has focused on creating user-friendly interfaces and workflows that make advanced AI approachable and trustworthy for clinicians.
